Today is Thanks Giving, an official holiday in the USA to celebrate the harvest. This cultural event is also acknowledged at ylaa child care. We celebrated it today by eating Chicken (instead of the traditional Turkey), sweet potatoes, green beans, corn and gravy. The children helped with the baking and cutting of the veg. They also painted special Turkeys as decoration. We wish you all a Happy Thanks Giving!
