On 11 November we celebrated Martin’s Day. Martin, a soldier who gave half of his warm coat to a beggar on a cold night, is an example for us and shows us what it means to share and to help others.
Of course, you don’t have to cut your jacket for that. Sharing the Legos on the playground with another child, reading the same book together, helping to pull up the zipper, or giving someone a treat.
In this way, we can bring a smile to the world through small gestures in everyday life.
With our lanterns, we shared our light on 12 November 2020 at 5 pm and walked a little parade around the area. At the windows all around, people were standing, curious because of our singing, waving, and watching us. We are convinced, that we have also brought a smile to their faces.
