Nature as a learning space

In the forest, we built, collected, tried out and thought together. Our children collected branches, wood and natural materials and used them to create their own building. They were able to contribute their ideas, participate in decision-making and find solutions together. Such nature sequences promote participation, creativity and problem-solving skills in a completely natural way. Our staff supported the children where help was needed, but also deliberately gave them space for their own experiences. This creates valuable learning moments in which independence, cooperation and self-confidence grow.
